Fresh & Zesty Pico de Gallo 🍅🌿 

This classic Pico de Gallo is a fresh, vibrant salsa perfect for tacos, burrito bowls, or simply scooping up with tortilla chips! Made with just a few simple ingredients, it’s a must-have for any Mexican-inspired meal.

Instructions 

  1. Chop & Combine – Add the diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro to a mixing bowl. 
  2. Season & Mix – Stir in the lime juice, salt, and minced garlic (if using). Mix well to combine all the flavors. 
  3. Let It Rest – For the best flavor, let the Pico de Gallo sit for 15-30 minutes before serving to allow the ingredients to meld together. 
  4. Enjoy! Serve fresh with tacos, grilled meats, eggs, and nachos, or as a refreshing dip with tortilla chips. 

Ingredients 

  • 4 ripe Roma tomatoes, diced 
  • 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped 
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped (remove seeds for less heat) 
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped 
  • Juice of 1 lime 
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste) 
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced (optional)
