Smoked Salmon Frittata


  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup baby spinach, chopped
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon, flaked
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk Eggs and Milk: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Sauté Onion and Spinach: Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add sliced red onion and cook until softened. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. Add Smoked Salmon: Add the flaked smoked salmon to the skillet, distributing it evenly.
  5. Pour Egg Mixture: Pour the whisked egg mixture over the ingredients in the skillet. Allow it to set around the edges.
  6. Dot with Cream Cheese: Drop small spoonful’s of softened cream cheese over the frittata mixture.

  9. Grate Parmesan: Remove the frittata from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  10. Broil for a Golden Top (Optional): If you prefer a golden top, you can briefly broil the frittata for 1-2 minutes, but keep a close eye to prevent burning.
  11. Slice and Serve: Allow the frittata to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
