Simone’s sewing journey is deeply rooted in her family’s traditions. She learned the art of sewing from her maternal Grandmother, who used a classic Singer foot pedal sewing machine, and her mother, who created stunning quilts. These early lessons sparked a lifelong passion for sewing, which has become a grounding and peaceful activity for her.

Despite the challenges and interruptions life brings, sewing has always been a constant source of joy and connection to her loved ones. Her mother’s encouragement to keep her unfinished projects has resulted in a collection of beautiful, completed works that speak to her perseverance and dedication.
