Kale Chips
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven
: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Kale
:
Wash the kale thoroughly and dry it completely using a salad spinner or paper towels.
Remove the tough stems and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
Season the Kale
:
In a large bowl, toss the kale pieces with olive oil, making sure all the leaves are evenly coated.
Sprinkle with salt and any additional seasonings you like. Toss again to distribute the seasonings.
Arrange on a Baking Sheet
:
Spread the kale in a single layer on a baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding, as this will prevent them from getting crispy.
Bake
:
Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and slightly browned. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning!
Cool and Enjoy
:
Remove the kale chips from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. They will become crispier as they cool.
Enjoy as a snack or a crunchy topping for salads!
Tips:
Experiment with different seasonings to find your favourite flavour combinations!
Store leftover kale chips in an airtight container to keep them crispy.
