Kale Chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Kale
    • Wash the kale thoroughly and dry it completely using a salad spinner or paper towels.
    • Remove the tough stems and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Season the Kale
    • In a large bowl, toss the kale pieces with olive oil, making sure all the leaves are evenly coated.
    • Sprinkle with salt and any additional seasonings you like. Toss again to distribute the seasonings.
  4. Arrange on a Baking Sheet
    • Spread the kale in a single layer on a baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding, as this will prevent them from getting crispy.
  5. Bake
    • Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and slightly browned. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning!
  6. Cool and Enjoy
    • Remove the kale chips from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. They will become crispier as they cool.
    • Enjoy as a snack or a crunchy topping for salads!
  7. Tips:
    • Experiment with different seasonings to find your favourite flavour combinations!
    • Store leftover kale chips in an airtight container to keep them crispy.
