Loaded Beef Nachos
Instructions:
Cook the Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, add the diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
Stir in the taco seasoning and water, simmering for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
Layer the Nachos:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
On a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish, spread a layer of tortilla chips.
Evenly distribute half of the seasoned beef over the chips.
Sprinkle half of the black beans and half of the shredded cheese on top.
Add another layer of chips and repeat with the remaining beef, beans, and cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top and Serve:
Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes, avocado, jalapeños, and green onions.
Add dollops of sour cream and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
Drizzle with hot sauce if desired.

Ingredients:
For the Beef:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade)
1/2 cup water
For the Nachos:
1 bag of tortilla chips
2-3 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
1 cup diced tomatoes or pico de gallo
1 avocado, diced
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Hot sauce (optional)
