Sweetgrass Soap, founded by Francesca in Langley, British Columbia, is an Indigenous-owned skincare company rooted in Ojibwe heritage from Lac Seul First Nation. Motivated by her son’s eczema and the desire for natural skincare alternatives, Francesca began crafting cold-process soaps and expanded to body butters, facial cleansers, and more. Since its launch in 2021, Sweetgrass Soap has grown rapidly, with products now available in boutiques and gift shops across Canada. The company is committed to creating safe, natural skincare inspired by Indigenous culture, emphasizing environmental and social sustainability.
