Instructions:
- Cook the Beef:
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water, simmering for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
- Layer the Nachos:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish, spread a layer of tortilla chips.
- Evenly distribute half of the seasoned beef over the chips.
- Sprinkle half of the black beans and half of the shredded cheese on top.
- Add another layer of chips and repeat with the remaining beef, beans, and cheese.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Top and Serve:
- Remove from the oven and top with diced tomatoes, avocado, jalapeños, and green onions.
- Add dollops of sour cream and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
- Drizzle with hot sauce if desired.

- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
